C.H.E.F. Career Diploma Program
Culinary and Hospitality Educational Fundamentals is designed to give students the professional skills needed for employment in today’s foodservice industry. The C.H.E.F. Program provides the skills and knowledge needed for success in today’s competitive job market.
This is a full time year long program.
Day classes Monday through Thursday 9:00AM to 3:30PM.
Admission requirements for the C.H.E.F. Program
- Completed TRTC Admission Application
- High school diploma or GED
- Proof of age (copy of state ID, driver’s license, etc)
- Completed FAFSA report (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

Culinarian Certification
The C.H.E.F. Program provides the course requirement for ACF® Culinarian Certification. One year of recent kitchen experience, within the past ten years, is also required for the Culinarian Certification exam.
